I have a working interest where they (KC) are the operators. JIBS are crazy HIGH, make no sense. Anybody else out there have experience with them? Crystal River was raided by FBI in 2013, appears to be GONE now, and KC Resources (a former business partner of theirs in some capacity) has taken over operation. They say that they also OWN 70% of the same working interests, which makes this difficult to get anywhere with them. Most of this is in WOODS County. Deal they have to sell to DCP has a bunch of low volume provisions that have all kicked in (half price nat gas, low vol fees). Thoughts, Suggestions?
If you can get the purchasers to pay you directly, that would be best. You don’t want that operator owing you money.
