We have a mineral interest in Kay County S23 25N 1W leased by Range Resources. Range has unitized this into a 640-acre lease. There have been at least 3 wells produced and there is approval to increase well density so I think this will allow up to either 6 or 8 wells to be drilled to date (80-acre spacing).
I have two questions.
How many total wells can be drilled and produced in a 640-acre lease? 8?
Is it too early to know the life expectancy of the Kay County horizontal wells and the depletion rate of horizontal wells in Kay County?
I’m trying to make some living arrangements for my mom who’s 84 and these wells could really help her right now. Thanks for any information you may have.
