While researching my grandma's West Virginia interests, I found a legal in the Ponca City News regarding Mackey and Company seeking relief from the land commission. My grandma's name was in the long list along with her sister. Grandma has been dead since 1970. However, she was from Newkirk in Kay County and her people were involved in the oil trade. I think the legal may have been about forced pooling. I think grandma might have mineral and would like some idea of how to find out.
