My mother has been offered $100/ac on a 5 year lease with $150 for a 3 year extension and 17% royalty for Oil and Gas lease in Johnson County. Does this seem like a reasonable rate for that area? It is only a 40 ac Parcel with 4 owners of record (all her sisters).
If not reasonable what would be(more money for bonus, different royalty, less time on lease)?
