Does anyone know anything about Jagged Peak Energy out of Denver, CO? Last year I signed an oil, gas and minerals lease with KEW Drilling and they just sold that lease to Jagged Peak around the first of the year (2014). Now I’m wondering what activities Jagged Peak may have going on in Ward County, Texas and if anyone knows or heard anything about this company and what they may have planned.
Additionally, I was contacted by another company interested in buying my mineral rights of the same lease. Of course, I don’t think I can sell the mineral rights at this time since they are under lease to another company.
All of the above makes me wonder if there’s something going on in Block 33 of the H&TC Ry survey that gives a glimmer of hope some holes may be punched into the ground. Any thoughts on this line of thinking?
