Is there any interest for a free, searchable map for well info, poolings, etc?

It’ll utilize Google Maps API with the BLM’s PLSS data allowing the user to search by Section Township and Range. This will enable users to visually see what’s happening around them. The plan is to provide as much information from the OCC as possible, but initially it’ll only go as far back as a year; the goal is to keep it current and continually updated on a day to day basis.

I've attached three PDF's as examples. It will work on your home PC, mobile phone, or tablet.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Is this only going to work on Oklahoma property?

The plan is to start with Oklahoma first, and if there is enough interest, branch out to other states. Ultimately it would be nice to cover every state with oil & gas production.

of course

Thanks Phyllis, we obviously feel the same way!

To this day, the State of Oklahoma (and other states as well) seems to rely heavily on third party vendors to regurgitate free information in an easily searchable format so that someone else can make money off of free public information. It’s our belief that this needs to change, and we would be happy to be the one to help facilitate this change. Let us know what you want, anything from search parameters, to how you want the information displayed. We want to build this to the mineral owners specifications and the more feedback we get will help us tremendously. Thanks!

I would love to see this for West Virginia

my siblings and i have mineral rights in woodward ,ok. i'd be interested in the free map. is there a way to know what's going on in that area? i live in tx, my siblings in fl. our land we inherited from our parents in 2002. sec 4 township 20 n, range 20 w. danic corp has 1-2 wells on there now, the freedom well, used to be the norman. for about 4-5 mo we rec $90-100 each mo, then when the opec holding prices down, has dwindled down to nothting. is there a way to get a copy of the geological assessment? is anyone familiar with danic corp. a co called rockwell minerals is offering to buy our mineral rights. anyone familiar with that co? would appreciate any help anyone could give us.

There were leases taken in 317 sections in Dewey and Woodard County since August 1st, 2015. The majority of these leases were taken out by Tapstone Energy, LLC.

When these sections are mapped the area of interest becomes apparent and this area is divided by the Dewey, Woodward County line. To that end your township and range is on the edge of this apparent grouping, but also contains a high density of leasing.

For example, of the 36 Sections in 20N-20W, 49 leases were executed with Tapstone Energy as lessee, leasing mineral interests in 22 of those sections. To include a lease covering interest in Section 4-20N-20W.

If you head over to the Dewey County Forum, you can hear from some of the other members of this forum who have received lease bonus offers from Tapstone Energy, LLC. I would recommend you take the time to do so before evaluating any offer you may have on the table to sell your interest.

I would also recommend that you wait to see where this new leasing and development takes your acreage before moving forward.

At your request I will send you a copy of the map. It is a bit rough and unrefined, but sufficient to visualize the leasing activity for Woodward and Dewey Counties since August 1st.

I would be interested John Larkin. equity25@aol.com

Yes please send me a map. CaptCamsCatch@pacbell.net

Yes absolutely would love this map.

I just sent it. Let me know if you do not receive it.

Let me know if you have any questions about the map. If a section had a lease filed and indexed against it in the clerk records, I highlighted the section. If multiple leases were filed in a single section, I did not annotate this on the map.

i would be very interested in any info and maps, i live in Alaska and have some mineral rights and producing in Loving county. my well is currently under Confidential status and i get very little info. as to what is happening. But i guess i should be counting my blessings . at least after 60 + years i am getting some money!!

I would like a map as well. markredwine7@gmail.com

thank you . i am very interested in receiving a copy of the map. my email is holein1one12003@yahoo.com. i will take your advice. i have contacted a co. caples, and they match mineral owners interested in selling to co interested in buying. my main concern is we don't know the potential of what the minerals may be worth down the road, or if there is a sufficient amt of oil/gas to continue waiting. we've been told several times since 2003 that you all are going to make a lot of money, only to have excuse after excuse why we're lucky to get 25.oo mo. after danic took over we were getting close to 100.00 mo each for about 3 mo and steadily gone downhill, but with current problems with opec ,etc. it's been 3 mo and nothing. the ceo of danic told us there is a potential for each of us to get good money, but we don't know what to believe anymore.

I just sent the leasing ac. Let me know if you do not receive it.

I sent the map to the email provided.

Your account of the history about your payments matches the history of the production of the Norman 1 and later the Freedom 2 being the wells producing from your section.

Unfortunately, your acreage is held by a 1/8th royalty lease without any special provisions. Any future sale of your mineral interest interest is going to take this into effect as will your past production payments. I personally would be tempted to wait to see what this new leasing activity brings. There are several financial roads you can take but ultimately no one but you can know what your best personal choice is.

I would be interested in the map. matthew_m_Jensen@yahoo.com

I couldn't tell if you were asking me or Audie. I sent the maps I have covering the period of 4/5/2015-10/5/2015, let me know if you do not receive it.

Is there still interest in an online map?

We have the leasing data for a number of Oklahoma counties mapped out. We are working on getting the map online but we need some early testers to test drive. If anyone is interested in testing the map out please let me know.
