The permitted well (Charles Goodnight 266-265 Unit A/Well 3 HL) was cancelled/abandoned location, so there is no well here.
Thank you for the response
Does this usually mean there will never be a well in that area? What are the reasons for abandoning or canceling a well permit? Sorry… I’m not too informed in all of this ![]()
Petrover there are some very good wells all around your acreage…be patient
Thank you—will do ![]()
Hi Can you tell me where you went to find this information? I have mineral rights in Reeves that my grandparents purchased in 1927. My father inherited from them, and now my sister and I inherited them. This is the description: Section 285, Block 13, H & G Railway Company Where can I look to see if there is drilling there, or if it is a paved-over commercial area? Thanks, Lisa
Lisa, these two links should help you find what you are looking for:

Production on wells in this area is not very good. The two main formations targeted in this area are the Wolfcamp and the Alpine High (Woodford). I see no activity in this area since about 2016-2017. Numerous plugged wells in the surrounding area. The green dot with a slash through it is a plugged well.
