That section has a pending horizontal well which is why you might have offers. They are going for the Woodford under the old fields.
There have been quite a few offers in areas where horizontal wells are pending. In my experience on my acreage, the offers have been lowball. Any offer that comes with a “pseudo” check on the bottom is highly suspicious. After reading them, they are usually offers that I am not interested in as their language is very negative to the mineral owner.
Southwest Energy has been buying and selling in the area.
Is Southwest Energy one of those who are making low offers? Not that I have been contacted, just interested.
