Would lithium be considered part of the mineral estate in Texas? For example, would an oil company have to pay mineral owners if they wanted to also extract and sell lithium from the O&G wastewater?
Thanks for any insight. I read an article about the potential for green lithium using existing oil and gas infrastructure and extracting it from brine wells.
