Is it normal for a well to quit producing after 2 1/2 years? 0 bbls. The well in question is Garvin county James trust 1-24-23XHW.
The well may have been shut in a bit for fracking nearby. Wait a month or so and see if it picks back up. Or it could be a mechanical issue. Time will tell.
It was shut-in for the fracking of the Highlands #1-13-18-17XHW well to the north. They shut it in to protect the wellbore from damage during the frac job.
I was pretty sure it was for the Highlands well, just hadn’t had time to look it up yet.

Highlands 1-13-18-17XWH is listed as active as of Mar 27, 2023 on the OK tax site so the well is finished. James Trust is probably back online by now. Your checks are always a delay from actual production-about a month for oil and two months for gas. The OK tax site can be four months behind, so we just have to be patient for info.
