Interested in activity in reeves county tx where i have mineral rights

I have mineral rights in

SECTION 10, BLOCK 54, TOWNSHIP 7 IN REEVES COUNTY.

Can anyone enlighten me as to activity or big “plays” in Reeves County?

I was told 1 1/2 years ago, when I signed a 3 year lease agreement, that there was a lot of activity. These folks still believe there is money there (in my land) but they “don’t want to take those assets this year”.

Frederick-- Are you located in the NE4 or the SE4? I am located on Section 11, Block 54, Township 7S

SECTION 10, BLOCK 54, TOWNSHIP 7 is the only legal description, Thomas.

I got a letter from ARABELLA MINERALS AND ROYALTIES 12/11 wanting to lease or buy it.

I’m not sure as to the NE or SE question, Thomas. I’ll try to find out.

Swain-- I received the same from Arabella on purchasing my mineral rights, but the offer was too low. I know there is a well drilled on the Northeast 1/4 (NE4) and producing, and there is a permit out on the Southeast 1/4 (SE4), and as far as I know no activity on this one. Do you have an abstract number for your portion (A-xxx or A-xxxx)?

Lemmie get out my contract, Scott. It says “288.7 acres being the SOUTH 288.7 ACRES OF SECTION 10, BK 54, TOWNSHIP 7…”

Had a call from seismic company that they will be on our property this week monitoring fracking of well in the area. Keeping fingers crossed. 42-389-33372 is our section. 7 miles NW of Pecos.
