I received a letter today from Vertical Energy LLC about purchasing minerals in Caddo County 30N, 12W. Offer says purchase even if leased. We have a current lease with King Energy which expires in 2021 but not sure what’s actually happening with it. I live in Texas so it’s more difficult to keep up. If anyone knows of anything going on there, any information is appreciated. Not really interested in selling but can’t hurt to listen.
Check the location again. There is no 30N in Caddo.
That’s what the letter says but I looked up my minerals which are Section 30, Township 6N, Section 12W I.M.
That makes much more sense. If I get a letter with a typo, that is a red flag to start with. Sloppy letters may signal sloppy landwork. No recent activity in the area.
