He can try a demand letter first for royalties and interest. He needs to be ready with a copy of his lease. Contact the royalty owner division or the Division Order analyst group at Kraken. Explain that other family members have been paid and ask if there is a cloud on his title or why he has not been paid,
The State of North Dakota requires that interest be paid on payments that are delayed over 6 months. However, if there is a title problem, this may not apply.

Yes, thank you. We are aware of that ND law. Since there should be no problem with title, hopefully there is no time limit to that law. I am anxious to see what Kraken has to say.
