A family member of mine was approached by a company wanting to purchase mineral rights that she did not know she owned.
The offer seemed reasonably legitimate, but no action was taken. A few years later, we would like to follow up on the possibility that there may be some value in the situation.
I have no experience in this area, and was hoping to get some clarity on it and make a plan to sort it all out.
The rights were in Leon County, TX.
