Information on Divine Resources & Their Leasing in Bebe/Leesville

We have been solicited by Divine Resources to sign an INTENT TO LEASE. The bonus promised is good, the royalty not so good, but I have not been able to find out anything about the company and their tract record. I have even contacted some attorney friends that work for some major producers in the Eagleford Shale and they have not even heard of them. Before I entertain signing, I would like to know some background on the company and their principals.

Does anyone have any information on this company?

Charlie, have you found any important information on Divine Resources? We were also going to check into leasing with them as well. Any information would be helpful.

Have not found out anything important. They are a newly formed company without a tract record and their backers are at this point unnamed. When their incorporation papers are filed, we might be able to find out a little more. The only thing I can say is that she sure is gutsy to undertake this venture and I would love for her to pull it off.

Great, thanks for the information...I'm going to find out what we can. Are ya'll looking to lease with them? Feel free to friend me, so we could email in private if you want.

Maverick and Charlie,

If you have not executed a formal lease, please message me directly before you do. I am currently packaging acreage for a major player in the area and would love to visit with you regarding acreage you have available. I am paying very competitive bonuses and royalties for the area. We are initiating drilling projects immediately as we secure lease packages of 320/480 acres.

Respectfully,

Maverick, Have you heard anything back from David Pina? I sent him my information and have not heard back from him if the company he is working for is interested in my area. Also have any of my people contacted you? Thanks, Charlie

Hello,

I am new to this site, and attended a meeting with Divine Resources.

I sent an e-mail to Ms. Ferrell last week, and received a quick reply that due to the holidays,

Funding will be available latter part of January rather than end of December.

Hello Seth,

The $1,350.00/acre for the lease agreement with DR.

Hello all!

You guys are doing quite well without me butting in on the conversation; but, I've talked to Jill on each of at least three "roundups" starting in 2011. I have about 2000 contiguous acres which is North East of Waelder, some mine and the balance my neighbors. I've never really thought that her hard work was going to pan out; however, I did sign up with her when she had her first round up; but, haven't signed up since. I've listened to her spiel each time and I believe she is working very hard to make it work this time and I wish her well.

There is a lot of headwinds facing her and anyone that even considers signing with her.

First:

Getting many millions of dollars for unproven leases without a proven track record is next to impossible. If she is, by some miracle, able to pull that off, then she will have to do title work on all that acreage.

Second:

Even though she says that she needed the extra 60 days or so to do title work, I don't believe she will spend the money to do title work on land until a final lease has been signed and there isn't any process in place to Sign a lease without getting paid the Bonus money and absolutely no one will give out bonus money without a signed lease.

Third:

Signing a lease is extremely important business and takes a lot of time and understanding on the mineral owners part. The mineral owner needs to have their attorney study and agree that the lease is acceptable.

Fourth:

The lease that she gave me and I believe Jill is wanting the mineral owner to sign is a prescription for disaster! So with that said, the mineral owner then must either take that lease apart or attach an addendum with the "good stuff" in it and then get that approved through her "one" attorney. This is a very time consuming process.

Fifth and last:

If all this other stuff can happen, then she says that she is going to be the operator. Assuming she could get the money, then she will have to "rent" out experts to do the operating. Do you really want to have a rental operator drilling a well on your property? A bad drilling job will give that property a black mark that is next to impossible to erase.

Just beware!

I think you expressed my reservations quite well. After attending the meeting in Leesville, I left with many more questions than I walked in there with. I sincerely wish the company does well and that they reach the point of drilling, but I am waiting to see some results. If they do make it to operations stage and are successful, all it does is put they rest of us in a much better position to bargain with other operators. Thanks.
