If looking into your mineral rights royalties etc what’s the best app to get for most information? Thanks.
Your state oil and gas commission is your first step. Your operator for royalties. No one app will give the total information.
Ok Thank You So Very Much ma’am
I’m so frustrated with the amount of work it takes and it makes it harder when the other part of the family shares nothing.
Wish there was an a one stop shop App, but every state has their own regulations and statues. If you are new to the forum, the best place to start is by asking questions in your state and county. Give your section, township and range or abstract, block and section for Texas. Folks are good about directing your search from there. Many states have excellent websites.
What I really need very badly is an attorney who’ll file paperwork/document in Columbia County, Pennsylvania so we can get paid by TROG LP/Tower Rock Royalties. It needs to be signed by a judge and then filed with the company working in Hardin County, Texas, Arriola Fee that had at one time 115 wells producing, now I believe it’s 65 that’s operating. We aren’t going to get any help at all from the other side of the family. I have done research on this stuff and got us paid but the brother gets paid every time we do without paying anything. What I’m talking about being filed is the conservatorship that’s been put over all the assets etc. The inventory that was made by him and I believe the brother wasn’t correct on everything due to the mother passing away in 1998 and we got paid on that but it had her name and daughter’s name as in care of daughter. The mother also had something called S F Sharing Plan I believe she let some of the royalty checks go to and haven’t a clue how to find it to this point. I confronted the gentleman put over the estate and told him that the heir wanted to get an attorney and file on him and he laughed and said he’d get continuance after continuance until we ran out of money. I’m sorry about the book I found out about this stuff 3 months after my mom passed away and now my sister passed away on May 10th, 2024, pancreatic cancer. I’m frustrated with it all and to add after he closed the estate out in 2013 from having it from 2006 maybe 2004 he sold several things that weren’t his to sell the brother got paid it’s just us that’s not been paid. I did use the father’s name and got 3 or 4 checks. Thanks if you’ve read this much. If any help or names that’ll get this filed please let me know I truly appreciate it ma’am.
I am so sorry to hear about your sister’s passing.
Have you checked the Unclaimed Funds in Pennsylvania to see if anything is at the state Treasurer’s office? https://www.patreasury.gov/unclaimed-property/
The forum cannot give legal advice. Looks like you need it. You can check the PA Bar association for a family practice attorney or an oil and gas attorney who could figure out what is going on.
