Got a call from Paul at Texoma Minerals out of Frisco, Texas, asking about purchasing my mineral rights in the Bakken. Just checking to see if anyone has a track record on the company. Good or Bad just checking if anyone has history working with them. Steve

It would be wise to find out what activity you have going on around you before even considering a sale. If you share the section, township and range, the forum can help with that. Buyers usually know more than sellers, so get up to speed with the area first.

Solid on understanding the ins and outs of mineral ownership and have a working knowledge of the area. Been receiving royalties since 2016. The properties are maxed out on wells and still generating $20k+/month. Just entertaining offer to sell and was looking for company info so Iām not sharing info with a stranger that could be a bad actor.

No history with working with Texoma. Depending upon your area in the Bakken and what county, you might want to check the county courthouse sites if they are online and see who else is buying in the area of interest. You can also contact the various auction houses to see what their costs would be to sell.
