Increased Well Density result Order

I am trying to understand the results of the Order of the Commission. Order #599467.

The particlular paragraphs are 8 and 9.

8. Relief Granted: The requested increased density well is authorized. The well
is permitted for the Woodford common source of supply underlying Section 30, Township
3 South, Range 3 East, Carter County, Oklahoma, a 640-acre drilling and spacing unit, as
an exception to Order No. 199785.

9. Allowable: If well is oil well, a 160-acre allowable. All gas wells on the unit
will share a single-unit gas allowable for said common source of supply. Provided,
however, that any existing wells shall be allowed to produce all of the allowable of which
they are capable, and the well authorized hereby shall be allowed to produce the
remainder of the unit allowable.

Daniel after reading the orders online, XTO has been granted permission to drill another horizontal well in your section down to the Woodford formation to retieve gas and oil. Thia is very normal on the north end of the Can Woodford play to drill as many as six to eight wells. More or less it means you will be getting added royality after this well is drilled

Does the "160 acre allowable" mean that they could have a total of four wells to the section?

Daniel,

It means you can get up to 4 wells. When they got a spacing order, they only got it for 1 well, sometimes it can be a test well. Once the minerals are proven that they is lots of oil/gas, they go back to OCC and ask for permission to drill addition H. wells.

Daniel,

Congratulation on the good news of more wells on the way. If you have a problem with too many royalty checks, just hollar, some of us Forum members will be glad to help you with the heavy load. Good luck.

Daniel looks to be doing real good already as it looks like there are already 2 recent Horizontal Woodford wells and now a 3rd on the way. I wonder why they would do infill drilling on that tract when the wells really were not that great unless they got most of it on an old lease at a 1/8th.
