They have 2 wells coming online soon. Randy Savage 3J and Macho Man 3J. Then they have 2 more that are soon to be spud named Stone Cold and Hulkster. Someone has a sense of humor and an appreciation for the WWE.
In my personal experience wells with funny names perform better than those with cool names. Fingers crossed for the Macho Man and Randy Savage

Does anyone know what is going on with Sections 11, 14 & 23 / Township 14 North / Range 20 West, Custer County, Oklahoma?
Wouldn’t be surprised if there is a horizontal well for the Cherokee coming soon. Devon just filed for three of them. Those sections have shallow production now, but horizontals can go underneath.

There are about 30 leases from the last 24 months. New horizontal well immediately to the north for the Cherokee. Wanda by Mewbourne. New horizontal immediately to the west. Leroy by Mewbourne. Likely to be Cherokee horizontals in your section in the future.
You have any information on Stone Cold
It is always more helpful to the forum if you identify if you are asking about a well, or an operator or leasing agent and give the section, township and range.
There are actually several Stone Cold wells in the US, but assuming you are asking about Stone Cold 2-1114H by Anthem Energy in Custer County since you posted there. The permit was approved 6/16/2026. The rig is onsite. The rig is also drilling the Hulkster #1-1213H. That one was spud 8/3/26, so looks like it is first and then the other one into 11/14. So several months before both are finished. Then they will bring out the frac crews to frac both to save money.
Stone Cold and Hulkster share a pad. Both are operated by Anthem Energy. They are both currently being drilled using the Kenai 19 drilling rig. Anthem currently has that rig contracted and scheduled for a mid September drill at another site. Given that, I would assume these wells will be drilled and ready for frac mid to late September. Possible production in December.

CowboyUp, I haven’t heard anything firsthand. I’m not local, so I don’t have eyes on the pad. I’ve been following the OCC Imaged Documents and Electronic Case Filing sites, along with satellite imagery on Copernicus Browser.
As of September 13, here’s what I’ve found: Kenai 19 was contracted to drill Stone Cold and Hulkster. In OCC case CD2026-003090, Anthem requested an emergency order because it needed that rig to start drilling at another site. The order was approved September 8. The next wells are Nature Boy and Hitman, with Nature Boy scheduled to spud September 16. I also found a Form 1000 permit to drill for Nature Boy issued September 11.
I can’t confirm where Kenai 19 is today or whether Stone Cold and Hulkster are finished. My best guess from that schedule is that the rig will finish there and move to the Nature Boy/Hitman location by September 16. I’ll share anything firmer if I find it.
The rig was not standing today. I didn’t go directly by so I’m not sure if they have moved yet. Anthem also told the land owners they were coming back shortly to drill another Moncho Man. But you never know for sure until it happens.
