Stone energy has been charging PPC against our ORRI. The original lease states free of any costs. What's up with that? Anyone else have this issue?

Does the Assignment of Overriding Royalty make any reference to the assumption of post production costs?

Does the Assignment of Overriding Royalty state that the overriding royalty be paid in the same form and fashion as the royalties are paid on the Oil and Gas Lease to which the Overriding Royalty burdens?

Thanks for your reply

The lease that is from 1976 states that 1/192 of all oil and gas produced, saved and marketed from said premises under terms of said lease, free of all costs and expenses except taxes against said overriding royalty interest
