If you had to do it over again, what would you have done differently? They always say that people learn from mistakes so eventhough I am trying to keep this positive, I think it might help for me to know some shortcomings or things that I should avoid if possible. Like Ron stated, forced pooling is not that bad. Sometimes landmen will state that as a "threat" to get people to sign a lease.
I think the biggest mistake people make is not taking their time or getting qualified professional help.
Nothing wrong with being pooled as stated above. That is, nothing wrong with it as long as you make an election within the required time. Many pros wait for the pooling before making a decision anyway.
