My family is not being responsible enough to talk to me about who is the leader of what’s going on because I’m discovering that Section 20, Township 3N, Range 4W is being sucked dry from CONTINENTAL RESOURCES because the production being pumped has gone from a few hundred barrels monthly being sold to a couple tens of thousands due to their ecoPAD wells on the mineral property. I fear that we are being robbed blind; the 3-year lease has expired already. Please shed some light on my situation please and thank you.
If a surface location is in Section 20, you may not be getting anything from a horizontal well. If you are getting production, your lease is held. I don’t understand going from a few hundred barrels/month to thousands of barrels/month?
Go to the Garvin County forum and post your question.
Hi Steven!
Hang tight, I am looking up the area but want to have all of my information put together before I send it to you.
I can tell you that there are two Horizontal Wells currently producing from Section 20 and judging from the production figures in their Completion Reports, they appear to be very good Wells.
There is a third Horizontal Well where its Surface Location is located in Section 20, but its Lateral (the horizontal part) goes south into Section 29.
I had to request production information on the Wells from a friend. Will send all of the information when I have it put together.
Do you or your family own mineral interests in Section 20? If so, you should be receiving Royalty Checks.
Hope this helps -
My apologies for the delay in responding to you and thank you for all your help, is it normal to feel like we are not being paid accordingly?
