I just read a Lis Pendens (concerning title to the property or a claimed ownership interest) lawsuit on the Oklahoma County Records website that was posted last week… Schlachter Operating Corp and Danial Investments vs Husky Ventures. It includes 20+ named wells.

Is anyone familiar with this specific lawsuit?

Is this type of lawsuit typical in oil & gas?

Production for my well started 4 1/2 months ago, so still waiting on Division Order. Could it slow that process down?

You won't see a division order for five to six months after production starts. They are supposed to pay you at six months or they owe you interest. If your well was not mentioned, then it is probably on the regular path to DO.
