I have 66 mineral acres in SE corner of 23-6N-9E. Corterra built a pad on section 26 an got a permit to drill 23. They let the permit expire on April 29, 2019 and have not renewed. Their 3 year lease ends April 29th of 2020 and they then have the 2 year option to release. There is a compressor station on section 25 about 200 yards from the drilling pad. I am wondering if Corterra will eventually drill. I also have 80 mineral acres on SW corner of section 24 which has not been leased. Wondering why there would be no interest in leasing this. Any information would be appreciated. Barn
Silver Creek did file a few leases in section 24 in July 2019 but they dismissed their pooling and spacing cases for 24 . Gas prices have been very low in the past year, so the economics may not be where they need them to be to drill.
