It is my understanding that there is “reef formation” in much of Stark County and also a question was stated about “seismic testing” being helpful. How do you know if there is “reef formation” on a piece of land or if seismic testing has been done in an area? How is seismic testing done?
I think you lease first then they do the seismic testing. If they test and the result is disappointing it might be difficult to lease. I think most people would like to receive something whether they have oil/gas or not. I just want to be well paid if there is something there to be paid for.
