I have a two-inch high stack of parcel descriptions (township range etc...) of mineral rights that I own, mostly in Arkansas but also Oklahoma and Texas. These were inherited from my grandfather, who was a land man in Arkansas back in the very early days. I suspect that there may be some producing wells on some of these properties that I am not receiving payment on. What would be the best way to research this possibility? I see that Arkansas has an online map system but it seems rather cumbersome. I don't want to pay anyone to research this, the prospects of getting my money's worth seems rather unlikely. Could I order section maps from Arkansas that would show producing wells?
