My mother recently received a request from Springfield Oil to lease our mineral rights. The first question I have is how do I find out what the coordinates of our acreage are? Is this information available online? If so, how do I find it? Are mineral rights owners listed by name at some website? It will be interesting to learn if our minerals are strategically located or not.
Also, how do I find out where Springfield is planning to drill? I assume it will be a horizontal drilling operation.
Help on these kinds of questions will be appreciated.
