How to find an attorney for Washington County mineral & gas rights?

Hi - New to this forum. How do I research if an attorney has a conflict of interest? My family has found they have inherited some gas/mineral rights in Washington County. How do I begin researching and learning about whether to lease and what is a fair offer?

What state is the property located in? PA?

Yes. Union township, Washington County, PA.

@Bella2 - I would suggest having the Petroleum Landman explain more about the development and lease agreement. I would ask him/her for a proposed unit map and please locate an Oil and Gas Attorney in the State of Pennsylvania to modify the Lease. Leases usually benefit the drilling operator and not you. Best of luck.

My family and I used Doug Clark from Peckville, PA. He’s originally from Westmoreland County and does not represent any oil or gas company. We had good success with him for our 100 acre property and he is so easy to work with.
