How to Contact Company About Mineral Rights

Recently Mitsui leased mineral rights in Leon county, ME Mays A-560. My siblings and I were not contacted about any lease. We inherited some rights from our father, that he owned after our mother passed. His probated will has been file with the county. My question is who should be contact to let them know that we now own mineral rights? The lease that was filed with the county was from April of this year, but the filing was just added to the county records. As always, thank you in advance for any assitance.

Mitsui has a email and phone number on their website for owners. I find them to be responsive.

Thank You, will start there.

Thanks for the information, AnthonyCalifornia. I did contact Mitsui and one of the landman got back with me. Said that they had already moved out that area and got sign leases from some but not all of the owners. So, moot point at this time I guess.

I just looked your abstract up- you are okay, little east and south for now, but give it a few months. Few more permits and wells drilled. They will be back.
