I inherited some minerals in Major County OK - SW/4, NW/4 & Lot 1 of the SW/4 - Section 11, T20N, R10W. I’m not sure how to calculate how many acres this actually is as I only would own a half interest in this tract. Any websites or suggestions on how to calculate this for FREE?
My guess is you mean the SW/4 NW/4 and Lot 1. Lot 1 is basically the W/2 of the SW/4, being called Lot 1 due to the river. The original BLM survey shows it as 38.25 acres, but is probably different today due to accretion & riparian rights. The SW/4 NW/4 is 40.00 acres, so originally the tract contained 78.25 acres. But as mentioned, is probably different today. You will need to locate an updated survey to know exactly. I would start at the Major County Assessor’s office to see what they show the gross acreage to be. Good Luck.

Go with what Todd says, you can also check the ok county records for a new survey followed by a stipulation of interest if the river has moved enough to prompt a company to spend the money on a new survey
