Do we know of any intentions to drill in Roger Mills County given the current macro oil environment of releasing US oil reserves? Can anyone recommend a landman to speak to with knowledge around the activity in this county specifically 03-11N-26W and 08-11N-25W? I’m curious if there has been new activity or interest. I know you can look up filings of intent to drill but a lot happens before then and certain landmen would be in the know. I welcome all thoughts and input. Thank you.
You cannot attract drilling. They will come if the reservoirs are there and it is economic for them to do so. Your area is heating up some with two main operators jockeying for position. Unbridled Resources and BCE-MACH II. Quite a number of filings at the commission in those two townships.
