3 horizontal wells just went up W of nueces river & N of Simmons. How many leased acres are included in each unit when horizontal drilling & deviding mineral rights? There are 3 wells close to each other. One is 300 feet from my home.One oil and 2 gas
It depends primarily on what the lease says and also the spacing rules for that particular field.
I looked on our lease but all it said was that with horizontal drilling the leasee can pool up to 640 acres should they choose.
Do you have any idea what the average amount is unless it pooled? I was thinking 160 but really have no idea
