I have an offer for my 42.819 net mineral acres, with a lease on all tracts with royalty ranging from 16-20% all in Divide county. I would like to know if there is action being done to drill more wells in the area, and how to find out what capacity my wells are currently. The offer is for 2,452.00 per acre. Sections 1,2,3 of 161N-96W, sections 9-12 of 161N-96w and 36-162N-96w. TIA
Sections 1,2,3 of 161N-96W Held by Continental Resources, one horizontal well in each pair 1/12, 2/11, 3/10
Sections 9-12 of 161N-96W Held by Continental Resources, one horizontal well in each pair 4/9 and the previous ones.
Section 36-162N-96W. Open to drilling, and looks like one is pending. Continental has the wells on either side. Looks like a new confidential well permit by Formentera called Rainbows End-24-36-PGN, so that will be new production. Just filed in March 2026.
Continental has said that they are not drilling in ND for a while, but who knows how long that will be. There is plenty of room for infill wells in each of your sections. Continental may come back some day or someone else might. Your current wells have many more years of life in them. 30-50% of the oil reserves are left by my quick look, just for the current wells. Probably room for four seven more wells in each section. Pressure will be down from the current production, but if they are economic, they will probably drilled someday.
