My brother and I inherited mineral rights to several acres of property in Wetzel County, WV. The mineral rights are leased out to a company that sends us out small checks every once in awhile. We do pay county taxes on this property online research showed the company to be very small. I tried to call them but could only leave them a message. However, they never returned my call. We would to review the lease but do not have a copy. County offices were no help. According to the tax statement, there is a well called out and also a map parcel number. There is no API number to be found. How do we obtain a copy of the lease? How do we find out the location of the well? Any information provided will be greatly appreciated!
