How do I get Okla minerals valued for estate settlement?

We are trying to settle our parents estate and need to get the minerals valued in 5 Okla counties. We are out of state. Anyone have any recommendations. Thanks fo4 any help.

There is an organization of mineral appraisers at www.mineralappraisers.org.
There are also several appraisers in Oklahoma City.

An appraisal might not be necessary unless you have issues with estate taxes in your state or the federal estate taxes. Also, if you intend to sell your minerals an appraisal would be helpful to determine the “basis” for potential capital gains when the property is sold.
Also, if your probate is happening outside of Oklahoma, you will need a summary or ancillary probate to get the property into the names of heirs.
If you send a personal message I can provide you with the name of a landman who is reasonable.
