How do I find the owner of the land above my mineral rights?

Hi All,

My family has mineral rights in Kingfisher County, and my job wants to know if it’s on government land. Can anyone please give me a shout out on how to verify this?

That is a really odd thing for a job to ask. The mineral owner has no duty to the surface owner or visa versa. You can look up via land records:
