I have royalties on wells in PA. and they have been using the gas off them for years. How can find out the quanity of gas and get them to pay me? They know that I am on the deed. I have heard that they want to sell the lease-can I put a lien on it? would appreciate any advise.
Pennsylvania production data can be gathered from the state. There is a catch in that operators only have to report production data every five years, so it is not likely you’ll get current information. A link to the Pennsylvania Geologic Survey should help:
