How can find my mineral rights location?

I have mineral rights in Harrison County & Panola County the problem I'm having trouble finding exactly where it's actually located. Can anyone help the widows son?

Search online for county and township maps in the state they're located.

Hi Carl -

Sharyn, Harrison and Panola Counties are in Texas. We don't have Townships and Ranges here, the base land units are Spanish Land Grants, Mexican Land Grants and Patents from the State. It's not neat like Townships and Ranges. More like a Jigsaw puzzle.

Carl, if you can tell me a little more about your interests, such as how and when you acquired them and from who, I may be able to help or at least guide you towards someone who can.

Do you currently receive any royalties from them?

If you would like to send the information more privately, accept my invitation to become A Friend on The Forum and you can send it that way.

I would like to know also. My mineral rights are in cook county. I have tried searching from the info on my lease. Without any luck.

Larry,

Do you know the Abstract, Section and Block #'s of your minerals? Do you know the Survey name? Also, do you know the API # of the well(s) on your lease?

Clint Liles

Oops looks like it’s in Grayson county.

85 acres, more or less, out of west part of 116.5 acres out of the M.B.Lamar Survey, A-704

No wells yet. Hopefull still!

Thanks for any help

Larry,

Since you stated your minerals are in the M B Lamar survey they will for sure be in Grayson County.

Hey thanks! Looks like it is Grayson county. Last time I was there was 47 years ago. I remember it being just off Dixie road. Which is just north of the Grayson county map you posted. Just can’t find the old home my grandparents lived in on google earth. Probably long gone now. All those dots on the map look promising!

The green dots with a slash through them are plugged oil wells and the plain green dots are possibly producing oil wells. The 2 long lines are laterals from Horizontal wells. I'll check out completion reports/production on some of these wells and get back with you. Is your acreage in the far bottom left corner of this map?

Should have one plugged well on the property. Plugged more than 60 years ago. I think the lease is in the middle to the north. Were there are not any green dots.

Thanks

Larry

No I don't know of a Clint Liles but one well is in Harrison County it's in the B Rogers survey A-20 marshall pottery 001. It's one in Panola county Gholston j s 2 #550122. What does it means 95 acres more or less?
