Are they Eagle Ford, or are theexploring new depths Pearshall Shale or new strata. The area I’m talking about is off Hwy 95 between Moulton & Shiner near Weid & Witting.
Penn Virginia is the active player more or less between Shiner and Moulton. Magnum Hunter more or less just west of Moulton. Marathon came in and drilled the RBK #1H at Sulphur Park, decided it wasn't worth their risk and plugged that well. I don't figure they'll be back in the area. Penn Virginia will likely take that particular unit over with time and drill with success given that acreage is completely surrounded with Penn Virginia production now.
It's all Eagle Ford and from what I understand, probably cost prohibitive in the Pearsall given the depth and cost associated right now.
