We have mineral rights in Saskatchewan. Ten years ago we had a horizontal well drilled on our land. Next month a new well is going to be drilled. I know the wells are twice as long now, but are they significantly more production on top of that. Has the technology improved over a decade?
The technology has significantly improved over the last ten years. If the well is twice as long, hopefully, there will be twice or more of the previous production (if it is in the same reservoir). The spacing rules will determine how much you will get of it. Good luck!
