So I’m looking at a huge offer for my minerals and just recently found out a horizontal well will be drilled. This offer is almost a million dollars. Could I actually see that much hike in the horizontal as compared to the vertical wells? Just curious as this looks like a very attractive offer.

Nelda - I believe so. I’ve ballparked how many net acres you own based on appraisal district public data and think your offer is low based on a newly permitted horizontal well. It may take a few years to get the million off the first well but there’s plenty of room for more on your minerals.
