I received a lease offer for brine extraction on 43 acres south of Sulphur Springs with a signing bonus of $70/acre and royalty of 40/year. Contract to run for 5 years with two 5-year options for renewal, with COLA increases. Wondering how this compares with other offers.
Thanks, DNP! Based on one other that I know of, yours is similar, is not exact. That doesn’t mean it’s a good deal, though. It’s very one-sided and it does not favor the landowner, in my humble opinion. Thanks again.
