HOPKINS COUNTY TX Lithium/Brine Activity

I am curious as to the extent of activity of smackover lithium/brine leases in the county. Any information as to location and terms being offered would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I received an lease offer for brine extraction on 43 acres south of Sulpher Springs with a signing bonus of 70/acre and royalty of 40/year. Contract to run for 5yrs with two 5yr options for renewal. with COLA increases. Wondering how this compares with other offers.

Thanks, DNP! Based on one other that I know of, yours is similar is not exact. That doesn’t mean it’s a good deal, though. It’s very one sided and it does not favor the landowner, in my humble opinion. Thanks again.

I have property and Hunt County, Texas. I was wondering who you would contact for mining lithium in East Texas?
