Hogg vs trinity operating settlement. Got a letter in mail regarding this law suit. Will this be a back payment deal? Or just some paper chasing attorneys. Thanks
I actually got two notices. One for Lee vs Trinity (failure to pay interest) and Hogg vs Trinity (failure to pay royalties). My aunt suspected for some while that they were short-changing us, so it will be interesting to see what comes of it.
Time will tell on these lawsuits. Wait and see what happens. Failure to pay royalties in a timely fashion does frequently lead to class action suits.
I’m hoping a lot of folks will opt out. Maybe that would push my share to a couple of dollars.
