HighPeak Energy Assets lease in Howard county

Im new here and was wondering if anyone knows about any physical signs of drilling on N2 of section 18, Block 25? There is about 310 acres there. Also, I guess I put the horse before the cart, how can I find out if HighPeak Energy has acquired permits without me subscribing and paying a company 1700.00 to find out? My lease was signed 1 year ago for 2 years with an option for a third year so Im thinking they will be doing something soon right? Also, is it legal to be stationed on a leased tract while at the same time sucking up resources across property lines underground? I’m having thoughts apon my pillow where all these oil companies are lining up on the edge of my mineral rights and they have these Dr. Suess pipes draining my rights away while giggling and laughing on the way to the bank on Jersey Island.

Susan I see no sign of drilling on your minerals but next door to the SW High Peak spud(begin drilling)a well(API 227-39600)on May 04, 2018…Also High Peak has spud another well next door(API 227-39999)on Jan 30, 2019. At this time I find no completion report on well 227-39600.

The wells are lined up within the legal setbacks required by the state. If a well was drilled on your side, it would also have the legal setbacks. Theoretically, they do not drain across the lease line, so you can rest a bit better on your pillow. The drainage away from the wellbore is not that wide of a diameter.
