I have yet to hear anyone talk about any new leasing activity in hemphill county. I know there is activity but have not heard a soul talking about it.

I'm hearing a few rumblings there also, but nothing definitive to say at the moment. This is a good place to keep a listening ear.

Hi Kenny,

I have a 20% share of mineral rights in Hemphill Co. We signed a lease for $600.00 per acre and a 1/5 share on production. Not sure if this is a normal price, was just wanting to know if this was average for the area?

Any idea what leases are going for now around SW Hemphill? Any activity with leasing and or drilling?
