Can anyone help me locate Lot No. 3 of the Nicholas Copeland Survey, A-162, Leon County, Texas?
I have a February 7, 1957 deed describing 160 acres known as Lot No. 3 of a subdivision of the Copeland League, A-162.
The deed says the property begins at the Southeast corner of Lot No. 2 and gives these calls:
- N 59° E — 1,200 varas
- N 31° W — 750 varas
- S 59° W — 1,200 varas
- S 31° E — 750 varas back to the beginning
Can anyone locate the original subdivision/plat showing Lots 2 and 3, and tell me exactly where Lot 3 is located within A-162?
I would especially like to know where the Southeast corner of Lot 2 is located on a current map.
