I signed a lease last year with Odyssey Land & Acquisition last year but have not received a 1099-MISC. Is it required or standard practice for Mineral Acquisition(landmen) to send out 1099s?
Give them a call and request one. The landmen are not the ones who actually pay out the bonus money and who got what gets lost before it gets to the person who is responsible for sending out the 1099’s.
