It is three years later and my lease with Viper / Darkhorse in Section 2 Township 16N Range 9E has expired. They paid out a large amount of bonus payments and drilled nothing. Which is fine because we now have the option to lease again. Google Earth and drill permits show very little activity in the area. If anyone knows anything different please post. I am reviving this old post in hopes of contacting J-Goodall who has interest in the same lease. They have filed an amended completion report correcting a simple location correction on a vertical well that was drilled in 1949. It came in at 670 bbl/day. Section 30 Township 17N Range 10E. Google Earth shows a large gravel pit next to the well.
