Has anyone used a good/honest mineral rights title searcher in PA-Washington Country to be specific- the gas company will not share the title search with us

I may be able to run someone to ground for you, but unless you have quite a bit of land and can afford to pay a Landman $400 or more a day plus expenses to research your minerals and prepare a Title Run Sheet for you, that route would probably be cost prohibitive.
You can always learn how to research the records yourself, of course, (be careful, it can be an addictive hobby) but the most economical way for you to obtain that sort of information is to include a provision in your Lease (or next Lease) requiring that the company provide you with copies of any Title Notes, Title Runsheets or Title Opinions regarding your lands / interests.
That would be for free.
