Received an offer from Bluegrass to lease minerals. We agreed, in email only, to the bonus and royalty amounts. Then, I proceeded to hire an attorney to review the contract. They leased my neighbors but have ghosted me for 2 months now. Landman doesn’t respond. Is that usual?
Depends upon the area. Many brokers are given a certain amount of money and a certain amount of time in which to lease in a certain area. They do what they can and move on.
